Pat Frank, a pen name for Harry Hart Frank, is the Author of Alas Babylon. He was born on ay 5th, 1907 in Chicago, Illinois and he died on October 12th, 1964. He attended the University of Flordia and was hired as a newspaper reporter. Being a newspaper reporter helped fuel his novels, books, and other articles. His works included Mr. Adam, Forbidden Area, Hold Back the Night, Seven days to Never, The Long Way Around, Rendezvous at Midway: U.S.S. Yorktown and the Japanese Fleet, An Affair of State, and How to Survive the H-Bomb and Why. He was a member of the Democtatic Natioanl Committee along with a consultant for the Department of Defense. He was an American writer, newspaper man, and government consultant.
